We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Advanced Digital Communication in Civilian Crisis Management training conducted by our esteemed Slovenian partner, the Centre for European Perspective (CEP), for EUAM Ukraine. Over the course of three days, from May 31 to June 13, 2023, mission personnel embarked on a transformative journey, equipping themselves with cutting-edge skills to excel in the dynamic world of digital communications.
Digital communication has played a significant role in enhancing crisis management during the war in Ukraine. EUAM Ukraine, through disseminating vital information, coordinating response efforts, and engaging with local communities, has contributed to the improved resilience and effectiveness of crisis management in the country. Building upon their knowledge and experience, our training provided the Press and Public Information Office personnel with practical examples and strategies to upgrade their communication efforts further.
The tailor-made Advanced Digital Communication training program
focused on the analysis of the mission’s communication channels and on addressing the widespread impact of disinformation. Furthermore, it touched on the importance of storytelling and the latest developments within Meta and Telegram platforms. A compact group of participants discussed their future communication strategies under the guidance of some of the leading experts in the digital communication field.
During the training, practical skill development was put at the forefront. Participants engaged in a dynamic learning experience through pre-training tasks, case studies, and interactive sessions with our expert trainers. Collective brainstorming strengthened their understanding and application of the concepts covered even further. Additionally, the findings of the EUAM Ukraine’s social media channels analysis, prepared by one of our trainers, added valuable insights to their learning journey.
EUCTI is proud to have offered this advanced digital communications course, empowering mission personnel with the skills necessary to improve their communication efforts and excel in the dynamic communication landscape. By improving communication strategies, utilizing storytelling techniques, combating disinformation, and adapting to evolving platforms, participants have significantly strengthened the mission’s overall impact and reach.
We extend
our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for their active participation, dedication and commitment throughout the training. We wish them a lot of successful communication strategies, positive feedback and inexhaustible strength to keep going.
