Course Summary

The residential course on Mediation, Dialogue and Conflict Analysis in International Civilian Crisis Management was designed for up to 20 participants, staff members of EUMM Georgia and other international organizations/peace missions in the area. The training was tailored to those occupying positions and functions related to the core activities of a crisis management mission who need to use mediation skills in their everyday work obligations. After discussing key theoretical elements the participants engaged in practical exercises such as mediation process, negotiation with local authorities, and other case studies related to their working environment.
