Course Summary
Targeting national and international members of the EUCAP Sahel Mali, this 4-day Mentoring and Advising in Civilian Crisis Management training gathered 19 participants in Bamako, Mali. Structured around four main modules — advising and mentoring, principles of capacity building, coping with resistance, and handover and reporting — the training fostered a high level of interactivity between experts and participants. The experts utilised diverse training tools, including simulation exercises, role plays, and brainstorming sessions, and dynamically adapted their approach to encourage participant input on specific content points.
