Course Summary
The ACP’s 5-day course focused on imparting theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the intricate challenges of Security Sector Governance and Reform. Primarily designed for the European Union Capacity Building Mission in Sahel Mali, the on-site training took place at the mission compound in Bamako/Mali. This initiative was strategically tailored to maximize the benefits for a highly diverse group of 18 participants. The training started with a broad overview of the training topic to create a common understanding of existing concepts and continued with a deep dive into SSR’s main subjects. Malian and the Sahel region’s context were always at the forefront.
