Course Summary
For the fifth EUCTI training activity aiming to enhance the skills of members of training organisations from 3rd countries, EUCTI’s Slovenian partner CEP travelled to Windhoek, Namibia. The Training of Trainers was beneficial for 18 participants, mostly beginner trainers from the Namibian International Women’s Peace Centre. The main training modules covered the principles of adult learning, teaching and learning theories, learning styles, and preparation and delivery of the training sessions. The final module linked all the topics with a specific mission environment. The training was successful in strengthening the participants’ capabilities to convey subject matter knowledge, skills and attitudes.
